First Visit

When you arrive at our office, you’ll be warmly welcomed as part of our family. Before we begin, we’ll obtain your consent to ensure you’re informed and involved throughout the entire process.Your visit will start with a consultation to review your medical history and discuss any health concerns you may have. Dr. B will then conduct a comprehensive chiropractic examination and may use advanced therapies to gather more information about your condition. Depending on your condition, an initial relief treatment may be provided during this first visit. All information gathered will be used to develop a personalized treatment plan, which will be presented during your second appointment.

Dr. B will go over your personalized plan, explain what’s happening, how we can support you, and how long it may take to help you feel and function at your best. She’ll also answer any questions you have and provide lifestyle recommendations during this time.

Chiropractic care focuses on the functional and structural evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of conditions affecting the neuromusculoskeletal system. If you’re unsure whether your discomfort is coming from muscles, joints, bones, or nerves—or if your symptoms shift from your hip to your back, or from headaches to shoulder pain to tingling in your fingers—this type of exam is designed for you.

While a complete resolution may not happen on the first visit, our goal is to accurately identify the source of your symptoms and determine which system is involved. From there, we can create a clear, personalized plan to begin addressing the root of the issue and supporting your recovery.

Functional Medicine: A Root-Cause Approach to Wellness Functional medicine is a patient-centered, science-based approach that focuses on identifying and addressing the underlying causes of illness—not just managing symptoms. It’s particularly valuable for those struggling with chronic conditions or who simply don’t feel like themselves, despite “normal” test results.

This approach views the body as an interconnected system, taking into account the complex relationships between genetics, environment, lifestyle, nutrition, and overall health.

Rather than asking, “What medication matches this disease?” functional medicine asks, “Why is this happening?” and “How can we restore optimal function and balance?”

The goal is to support the body’s natural ability to heal through a personalized plan that may include targeted nutrition, lifestyle modifications, stress reduction, neutraceutical-grade supplements, and other integrative therapies.
